why I make wedding albums

Growing up, I remember looking through my parents’ wedding album and envisioning what their day was like. As we would flip through the book, my mom would pause at each photo and tell me the story behind what happened in each moment. When we got to the photo of her walking down the aisle, my grandpa, who has now passed away, was holding her arm and looking at her with the softest eyes. My mom told me that at that moment, she told my grandpa about how nervous she was and that he reassured her with a smile that everything was going to be okay. In the next photo, you can see my mom walking down the aisle and over her shoulder, you can see my dad seeing her for the first time with the sweetest look of disbelief. I asked my mom about this photo and she told me she can remember the exact moment that my dad saw her because he opened his eyes widely, took a deeeeep breath and just looked at her with so much love. She said she can remember exactly how that moment felt and how relieved and happy she was to see the love of her life waiting for her at the altar.

Learning about these memories always made me feel so much closer to my parents because I felt like I got to relive their most loving moments together, even 30 years later.

Now that I’m a wedding photographer, I want to be able to give my couples this same experience and cherish their memories forever. Of course, wedding photos can be accessed online and through phones, but there’s nothing close to being able to hold the photos in your hands and seeing the full story unfold in front of you.

why i love these albums

I spent literally MONTHS trying to find the perfect album company. I ordered multiple samples from several album companies and none of them impressed me until I finally found this company. I was completely blown away. The QUALITY is INCREDIBLE. The pages are thick, the colors are rich and the texture feels so soft in your hands. The crease in the middle of the spread is almost seamless which I found super impressive compared to other companies. The cover materials are also sooo nice. My favorite is the leather and they even have the option to make customized covers which is SO FREAKING COOL. I can go on and on about how much I love this company, but basically, everything about their albums scream *quality* and *beauty* to me, which is everything I have been looking for.
